Tier I · Operatory

Sensors and the edge.

4K intraoral video, CBCT volume, radiograph, voice transcript, EMG/bite force, vitals band, and environmental signals all converge on a Jetson AGX Orin running 275 TOPS at sub-100ms inference latency — without leaving the room.

Tier II · Practice server

The on-prem twin.

An RTX 6000 Ada with 48GB VRAM renders the live Omniverse USD digital twin and orchestrates the multi-operatory fleet. A BlueField-3 DPU enforces a hardware HIPAA boundary — AES-256 in flight, AES-256 at rest. EHR write-back to Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental.

Tier III · Federated

Models improve. PHI never moves.

Model gradients, not patient data, flow up to the federated learning tier on a NVIDIA FLARE-based architecture. Every pilot site contributes to a smarter model without a single byte of PHI leaving the practice's network.

This figure is the working reference design. The pilot installations follow the same three-tier topology, calibrated to the practice's existing imaging fleet.
